Dang straight, I’m having the house AAAALLLL to my cute self. Done some serious cleaning, now that the kids are not gonna clutter up everything again two minutes after. A lot of new realizations that come with being utterly alone: gotta cook, gotta grocery shop for cooking, gotta stick the laundry in washer before leaving to grocery shop, gotta double check on all the doors to make sure they’re locked - cos dude I’m paranoid like that… WOW so much crap I never had to do by myself before! Plus I gotta take Jaka for walks before it’s too dark cos he’s been acting like the sky’s falling, ever since the whole family up and left. I tried entertaining the dog but he wouldn’t have any of it.
More realizations: I can’t cook! I’m gonna die from starvation! …or from having too much ramen noodles. I better stock up on cereals. Or call down a certain somebody from Irvine (who’d better leave his gimp hand behind) to cook a whole bunch for me so I can refrigerate them. They should last ’til hmm, August?

Anyways, focusing on happy things… Started work today and environment is awesome and coworkers are great. Too bad I was nodding off to sleep almost immediately after starting my mac. Reason being: stayed up until 2:30a, woke up at 3:30 becos of my stupid allergic reaction to alkie, woke up again at 4:30 for the same reason, and again at 5, at which time I decided to shower in hopes of washing away the bad chi. BAD MORNING for a non-morning person!!!!

Gotta go do that grocery shopping. Oh by the way, allert! Pool party invitation in the making. ; )

Trying to draw on Illustrator. Again on Kes’s project. Nothing’s coming out right. BREAK TIME!

I’m gonna be jobless no more beginning Monday, actually starting my internship! I’ll be working for Lukas’s company, Synergi-marketing, and hopefully I’ll be more getting than giving. Wait, that doesn’t sound like what I intended. I meant that I’d gain experience-wise. I will try to be helpful to them too of course. Also, there’s another internship lined up for the month of August with Griffin Communications. I’m starting to miss my jobless days already. But at least Dicky and Lukas will get off my back about being unemployed.

Besides I need my braincells exercised. Last night I felt like a drunk blonde, although obviously I wasn’t drunk or blond, but I busted some bytes trying to get to the Elephant Bar which is only a coupla intersections down from my house. Things were more complicated than that but I still felt really dumb.

Random stuff. If you have never had mochi ice cream, you’re either uninformed or just plain tasteless. Please go get some. Trader Joe’s or those Japanese restaurants should have ‘em.

The kids I watch over, they’re entertaining. Ardji (5 yrs old, half white-half Indo) is an aspiring musician. He literally yelled at me as he played the piano: “LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! ARE YOU LOOKING?” I think he played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Such a show off. And I’ve been trying to catch him on video when he raps. Yes, he raps like a brotha. Although parts of the lyrics are not English, Indonesian, Latin, Black, Farsi, or any other language known in the civilized world. I just know they sound kinda badass.

Came home this morning at 2 and my cousin Rachel, who shares the bed with me, was sprawled diagonally across the bed, leaving itty bitty space that only fits Jaka. She is the toughest roommate I’ve ever had. I stayed up doing whatever until she did make room. I could’ve woken her but I’m just too much of a softie that I couldn’t. At around eight, though, I woke up hogging every inch of the blanket, and Rachel was complaining to her mom about it. Justice served?

I swear I did not do it on purpose.

awesome weekend. endless thanks to david - my personal chauffeur and tour guide. one of the most selfless individuals i know. and so sweet! and what a hottie!! …ok maybe i’ve expressed my gratitude enough. =)

i was considerably happy to be in irvine but david took it up a notch and escorted me to all these great places like ghetto downtown LA (ok NOT a mountaintop experience), cabazon outlet stores, palm springs beach, steamers jazz bar, the hill with that salmon - not pink - drug dealer house (omg overlooking SUCH A VIEW of city nightlights! aaaaah!!), and the popular spectrum (saw batman begins that made us stand in line 3 different times). and we had japanese food like crazy. sushi one night, teppan the other, and more sushi the next.

went to newsong again! =D and irene got us there late! =’( jk.. it was my fault. no it was some alarm clock’s fault.

back in bako, we hung out at the center of civilization - the fountain in front of edwards. (”on MING” doesn’t sound that cool anymore, david. grr!) did some people watching.. i guess some dog watching too considering the number of them out there. then we explored the village and with my street knowledge we ended up in ghetto east bako! whoops. but managed to u-turn safely to cafe med, an awesomely romantic place, so un-bako. sadly, no belly dancers cos she died sometime ago. (is it possible for funny and morbid to go together at all? …darn, i’m gonna get smited for this.)

so. it’s monday. back to housesitting.

Anton’s poor pewter car. (My personal opinion: “pewter” is simply 40% grey.. but hey, whatever)
They got out of church. Comel backed out of her parking space. Halfway out, she stopped, and then parked back in. Anton’s in his car watching all this, thinking “Ok….???” and he’s just waiting, making way for her to back out. After a while, he decided to just go ahead. As he passed, Comel all the sudden backed out real fast and put this long horrific “artwork” across the side of Anton’s poor pewter car all the way to the butt! Until this day I do not know why Comel did that, cos as far as I know they were good friends before that happened. Hahah they still are, surprisingly. But Anton was kinda excited at the end, becos then he gets to fix his car for like $400 less than what it would be if he only wanted like a paint job or something. (Sorry all the details escaped me as I laughed my head off) So the point of this is, God works in SUPER-mysterious ways… assuming Anton did pray for a lesser costing paint job. Oh and Florida should not give out drivers licenses so flippin easily. I mean, Comel was one of those girls who almost gave me cardiac arrest as I taught them driving with my car. Hmm that gets me thinking. Am I to blame also, then, for this stuff that happened to pewter boy? Wow… I owe him an apology.

This was what Sunday looked like at Robert’s house. No girls in the water, just guys. But they had a great time nonetheless and thank GOD nobody got dismembered. Dunno why the girls didn’t go in, I would’ve if I weren’t in an allergic-reaction state of being. That color pink on my skin wasn’t that sexy. They thought I’d been in the sun.. but nope it was alcohol. And I promise myself to never ever make fun of Lukas’s red face again.. I’m very very sorry right now. Please go away, allergic reaction….

YES to unlimited weekends! my cell minutes have been up for weeks now and my salvation day is the 14th. so i’m calling up soo many people like you won’t believe. if i didn’t call you yesterday, i might today, so keep your cell close by.

did anyone else see mr & mrs smith this weekend? i went friday nite. david ika almost gave away the ending an hour before i went to see it and he was way over where in ATL, hah, nice try! and troy and friends didn’t get tickets in time - boo.

saturday was robert-naomi-moe-eric’s graduation. went to check out how they did convocation out here in the real world. wasn’t particularly fond with the gym setting and the bestowing of gifts from faculty to faculty (which took like 3/4 of the whole ceremony time! what the heck?) but all in all, the excitement was the same, although more bottled up in pcc. have to admit that now i kinda appreciate the formality in pcc - guess cos they make it more personal and inward instead of out. oh and also becos they don’t allow lei’s and the works. (never seen more accessories than those worn at  yesterday’s graduation)  but just for the record, i’m not dissing. seriously, that wouldn’t be nice of me.

so yeah grad day means lotsa celebrations (champagnes)…  eric’s parents treated all to lunch and white zinfandel.. and then more of that stuff later on at lukas’s place, curtesy of eric and daniel (btw never seen lukas "blush" like that either! wahaha alia was right!) and then on to olive garden where robert and lukas shared the bill and robert got us merlot and toasted for me like literally 15 times so that i’d hafta take RELUCTANT sips. he was mad drunk. then we hung out at naomi and noriko’s until i got this huge headache called early hangover. weird cos i wasn’t drunk. drunk by association?? but i’m pretty sure it was diki messing with my head constantly.

neways, supposedly a mini hurricane just passed by p-cola. but my brother was concerned about something else totally unrelated to that. heheheh

hmm yeah and this is way random. i don’t get that show about britney and kevin.. it was so uninteresting and just plain bad. and ugh that guy’s smile/smirk/whatever just NEEDS TO STOP.
